THE WINNER OF MY DRAWING FOR  AUTOGRAPHED COPIES OF THREE OF MY BOOKS IS:

CAROL BROWN

TODAY through May 14!

Welcome to the 1st John 3:16 Giveaway Blog Hop!

As one of the members of this great network of Christian Authors, I am excited to participate in this event! We have come together this week to showcase our books and to give you, our readers, a chance to win some great prizes as you "hop" from blog to blog. A different prize is offered at each blog site (no purchase necessary), however if you want to have a chance to win one of two Kindles the network is giving away, the only requirement is that you sign up for the John 3:16 ezine newsletter. (Located at the top right side column of the John 3:16 blog site.)

(See official rules here.)

At the other blogs, each author will require that you leave a comment (and a valid email address) so they may contact you if you win a prize offered on their blog site.

May I also suggest that you show your love and appreciation to each blog host by either following them on Twitter, or "liking" them on Facebook or even subscribing to their blog. It won't help your odds of winning a prize, but I know each author would be thrilled and very encouraged!

MY GIFTS:

When you click on my link below you will be directed to my website where you can see the gifts I have for you:  one copy of each of my books pictured.  They are books that will help you better understand how you are made and how those you relate to daily are made.  This understanding will help you to maximize your relationship: marriage, parenting, workplace, and friendships, etc.  They will also help you to develop your God-given strengths to enjoy the fulfillment that is your reward for becoming what you were designed to be.

To be eligible for my gifts:

1) You will be able to click on a link to my INNERKINETICS Facebook page where you must click the "Like" button, and

2) You will also be able to click on the link to my latest blog where you must leave a comment and a valid email address so that I may contact you if you are the winner of my gifts.

So tell your friends about the John 3:16 Giveaway Blog Hop! It's going to be a great week of fun!

Just click on the links below to go from blog to blog! Happy hoppin'!

Your InnerKinetics Can Inspire Your Dreams

Do you ever have a dream that you just can't shake from your mind after waking from the slumbers of sleep? I had one last night. In my dream I was running a race, a marathon actually. At each mile marker, I was required to stop, go inside a building, and collect a prize. These prizes were to be carried with me for the remainder of the race. I remember asking someone why I had to carry these things - wouldn't they only be excess baggage and succeed in slowing me down?<< MORE >>

See you there!

Are you interested in some great books from some great authors?  Here’s just a “taste” from the John 3:16 Marketing Network.  You can check out more of their books here.

Network Relationships Develop Multiple Strengths

When you form network relationships it can lead to some extraordinary experiences — especially when your relationship deals with personal development on some level.  Such was the case when I connected with a group of authors a couple of years ago who were endeavoring to assist each other in learning to market their writings.
BLOG HOP COMING!
Writing is a passion for each of these authors, although marketing probably was not a strength for any of them — including me.  This was a case where we needed to join our resources together to develop an adopted strength to sustain and develop one of our innate strengths and passions.

Our efforts paid off.  My book, I'M A KEEPER, was the first "project" we worked on together, and it rose to the level of bestseller on Amazon with some effort and the help of the few authors who were in the John 3:16 Marketing Network at the time.  I believe we had only about twenty members in the network then.  Since that time it has grown to nearly 200 members — both fiction and nonfiction — because of their mutual passion to communicate their faith and help others to do the same through the written word.

During the week of April 7-14 we are planning a project to help you get acquainted with many of the members of our network, including me, by hosting a "Blog Hop Giveaway" during which each of the participating authors will give away a product from their blog in exchange for your participation in some way, which is to be determined by each of the Blog Hop authors.

Gifts from participating authors will include books, e-gifts and other prizes.  Each person who completes the Blog Hop as required will be entered to win the grand prize — one of TWO Kindle readers.  The winner from my blog will be announced on my FaceBook pages and on my blog the week of May 20.

If you love to read good literature and/or love to write and want to develop you author skills, WATCH THIS SPACE for the details that will be announced on May 7th.

Controlled by Your Mind or Controlled by Your Emotions?

I will speak of the mind as if it can be influenced by processes in the brain but can also be the instigator of our thoughts and feelings, giving us a sense of control over what we think and feel. When we have control over what we think and feel we can be responsible for our lives and become the master of our own destinies. We are at the wheel; our brain is not. << MORE >>

How the Emotional Content of Our Strengths Determines Their Limits

No other inner force so successfully takes us by surprise and dominates us like our emotions. All our strengths can be powered by helpful or unhelpful emotions to achieve any purpose. We stand at the controls with our hands on the wheel of choice, masters of whatever destiny we choose. The emotions we welcome will strengthen or weaken our strengths. If our choice diminishes our strength, it is a result of poor emotional management that we don’t think about.<< MORE >>
